Best College Bowl Games in the Midwest

Charter Bus InteriorDetroit’s Ford Field will be hopping on Boxing Day when the Toledo Rockets face off with the Florida International Golden Panthers in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl, the only college bowl game to be held in the Midwest.

The MAC-conference Rockets come to the contest with an 8-4 season, including a great 31-20 win over the Big Ten’s Purdue University. The Golden Panthers arrive in Detroit from the Sun Belt Conference with a 6-6 season, which includes a win over Troy University, their conference co-champions.

This bowl game should get a lot of television viewers, as it’s the only bowl game scheduled for Dec. 26. The game starts at 8:30 p.m. EST.

Most college bowl games are held in warmer climes. But the Rockets and the Golden Panthers (even if they are from the Sunshine State) are made of sterner stuff and will face each other on the gridiron in Michigan the day after Christmas.

If you’re a Midwest college football fan living in Indiana or Michigan, why not give you and your friends the gift of going to the only nearby bowl game and travel to the Little Caesars’ Pizza Bowl via Cardinal Buses, Inc.?

Charter one of our buses and you and 24 to 56 of your closest family members and friends will travel in comfort and style to the game. You and your crew will arrive at the stadium — or even your hotel, if you choose — fresh and ready to go.

In addition, we’ll pick you up where you tell us to, at no charge (we do charge a small fee for pick up in a few cities; call us for more information).

So, are you a real college bowl fan, one who wants to give up watching the game from the wimpy comfort of your recliner in your warm family room for the chance to experience a bowl game in the flesh!? (In case you forgot, Ford Field is an indoor field — quite toasty in late December no matter who frigid Detroit is outside.) We think you are! Charter one of our buses today!
